This coming Wed (Feb 17th) is our last week! Conditions at Wirth are perfect and what better way to tune up for the Birke. Come out and give it a try. Six laps of the the full 2.5k man made loop; just like the Olympics (but our snow is better...much, much better). Go for the Gold!

Hoigaard's and the Minnesota Youth Ski League invites you to Theodore Wirth Park the first seven weeks in 2010 for a Team Sprint Training Series. This informal Wednesday night race series is based on two-person relays with a different format each week. Bring a partner or sign up to be matched with a skier of similar ability.

The new lit snow making loop is fantastic. Come and try it out.

$5 per race. All proceeds go towards youth skiing! On site registration only. Minneapolis Trail Pass is required for those 12 and over. Registration begins at 6:00 pm in the main Chalet, races start at 6:30 pm. Come with a partner or pick one up at registration.

Dates with tentative formats (check back each week for changes):

January 6th - 6 x 1.2k
January 13th - 8 x 1.2k
January 20th - 6 x 1.5k
January 27th - 8 x 1.5k
February 3rd - 6 x 2k
February 10th - 8 x 2k
February 17th - 6 x 2.5k

Youth distances will be shorter. There will be an adult division, a  children's division and an adult/child division. All children get ribbons.
