The MYSL Ski Trailer is available to any non-profit organization on a first-come, first-served basis. The trailer is available free of charge, however if your organization can afford to make a donation towards maintenance and replacement of equipment, it would be greatly appreciated.

The MYSL trailer contains equipment primarily for grades 1-6. Some larger equipment is included, primarily so that adult leaders may also be able to ski. The MYSL attempts to maintain a fairly deep assortment of boot sizes, and has standardized all equipment to be compatible with the NNN binding.

Reservations are on a first-come, first-reserved schedule. In general the trailer can be reserved by a school program for up to two weeks. In this case, the trailer must be available for use over the weekend if required. We will attempt to provide at least 48 hours notice if the trailer is needed by another group over the weekend.

Pickup and delivery: Users are expected to pick up and deliver the trailer from Hoigaards in St. Louis Park. Note: the trailer is parked at their nearby warehouse. Trailer can be picked up M-F before 5pm or call and make arrangements with Andy, Jim or Jay. Call 952-929-1351 for directions.

The trailer hitch is 2" and a flashlight is recommended.

Information about access (keys and combinations) will be given out as needed. In general, the trailer should be returned to Hoigaards no later than 6:00 p.m. on the last day used in order to allow a new group to pick it up that evening if necessary. In the event that the trailer is to be used consecutively, the 'old' and 'new' users may discuss alternate arrangements. (It would make little sense to have the trailer returned to St. Louis Park from Blaine if the next user is in Coon Rapids.) Check with the MYSL for user contact info.

The MYSL attempts to start the season with all equipment in good working condition. If you notice equipment is damaged, please tag it with tape and let the MYSL director know. Since the trailer is often in continuous use, we have no direct method of checking equipment during the season.

In the event of willful damage, we expect the using organization to make us aware of the damaged equipment ASAP and offer to pay for the equipment. This is a very rare occurrance, but it has been known to happen.
